Karachi, June 4, 2025 Sayyad Mohsin Report— Popular TikTok personality Sana Yousaf was tragically shot and killed late Tuesday night in Karachi, sending shockwaves through her fanbase and the wider social media community.
The 24-year-old content creator, known for her engaging lip-sync videos and lifestyle content, was reportedly attacked by unidentified gunmen near Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 6 around 11:30 p.m. According to police sources, Sana was returning home from a friend's gathering when her vehicle was intercepted and fired upon.
Eyewitnesses told local media that the assailants fled the scene immediately after the shooting. Sana was critically injured and rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead on arrival. Law enforcement officials have launched an investigation but have not yet confirmed the motive behind the attack.
Sana Yousaf had amassed over 1.2 million followers on TikTok and was considered one of Pakistan’s rising digital stars. Known for her charismatic personality and creative content, she was widely admired by fans, particularly among younger audiences.
Tributes have poured in from fellow TikTok creators and fans on social media. “Heartbroken to hear about Sana. She was a bright light in the community,” posted fellow influencer Areeba Shah. “Gone too soon. Praying for justice.”
Karachi police say they are reviewing CCTV footage from nearby areas and questioning witnesses. No arrests had been made at the time of reporting.
Sana’s body has been moved to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for post-mortem examination. Her family has requested privacy as they deal with the devastating loss.
This incident marks another alarming case of violence against public figures in Pakistan, raising concerns about the safety of digital influencers in the country.
Authorities have urged anyone with information related to the incident to come forward.
